We are seeking an experienced and reliable Drill Locator to support underground drilling operations in Fort Myers, FL . This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, efficient, and safe drilling activities alongside the drilling crew.

Responsibilities :

Perform accurate utility locating using industry-standard equipment and interpret utility maps to support HDD operations.
Assist the drilling crew in daily underground operations, including bore path tracking, potholing, and site restoration.
Operate a mini excavator and other equipment safely and efficiently as needed on job sites.
Maintain and inspect locating tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality and readiness.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, project specifications, and company procedures.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with the crew and foreman to meet project goals and deadlines.

Requirements

Fluency in both, English and Spanish required;

2+ years of experience in underground drilling operations (HDD);

Ability to operate a mini excavator safely and effectively;

A valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required (CDL is a plus);

Strong knowledge of HDD equipment, safety practices, and restoration work;

Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned region.
