Integrated Interventions LLC is looking for a patient, highly-driven Tutor skilled in high school and college level academics.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of transitional living students. As a Tutor at Integrated Interventions LLC, you can choose from several different part time schedules.
Who we are :
Integrated Interventions is a premier transitional living program for youth aged 17 and older. Our program is nationally recognized as a new spin on the traditional residential treatment model with campuses in Idaho and Texas.
Our staff work diligently to help students learn the life skills required to be sustainably independent. Students leaving our program go on to live happy, healthy and productive lives.
We are the last step on the therapeutic journey that many of our students have been on for many years.
Our Mentors take the lead in supporting participants through ongoing, one-on-one mentoring while serving as a positive role model.
Take all of the hands-on work skills, interpersonal skills, and outdoor skills you encompass and build a relationship with mentees by planning and participating in activities together.
Through these adventures, our mentors and mentees alike build self-esteem and motivation.
Our tutors will work one-on-one with students in achieving individual educational goals. Our tutors have a thorough knowledge of varying subjects and / or test preparation, have a strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain challenging concepts, provide instructions and deliver feedback, and have the ability to motivate and encourage students to improve their academic performance using effective goal setting strategies.
What we are looking for :
Integrated Interventions is looking for an experienced and reliable tutor to join our educational team. You will work with students of various ages, either one-on-one or in groups, to provide help on a particular assignment or with basics in a specific subject.
After each tutoring session, you will need to document what tasks you worked on so that you can share the student's progress with their parents and the education team.
We also offer test preparation services, especially to high school students, so you must be able to work with older students on improving their test scores.
Our ideal candidate has worked professionally with school-age students for at least one year and is comfortable tutoring in at least two of the four core subjects.
