We’re looking for you.

The Environmental Services Technician will maintainneat, orderly and sanitary conditions by performing a variety of environmental services as directed by immediate supervisor or other management personnel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and disinfecting of all areas according to the department policies and procedures as assigned. This includes departments, patient rooms, offices, hallways, walls and windows.
• Report damage or abuse of property, maintenance concerns and any fire or safety hazards.
• Clean and store all equipment and supplies.
• Will have daily contact with patients, family members, employees and the general public. Must remain HIPAA compliant.
• Must be able to perform duties independently with minimal supervision.
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred :

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous Hospital Environmental Services experience.

Required Interpersonal Skills :

• Maintain commitment to excellent customer service.
• Must be able to read, speak, write in English & follow oral / written instruction.
• Exhibit professional appearance.
