Post Production Laminator Position Summary :

Responsible for assembling a product or components of a product and finishing the product primarily through lamination but includes priming, gluing, sanding, trimming, glazing, and other processes.

May perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them, rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.

Post Production Laminator Key Responsibilities :

• Laminating using wet layup techniques
• Prepare and maintain molds for laminating
• Prepare materials for the laminating process, including cutting fiberglass and carbon fiber, mixing resins, and gel coats
• Properly mix materials per order requirements.
• Process work orders per customer requirements.
• Finish parts by priming, laminating, gluing, sanding, trimming, glazing, and other post-production processes.
• Set-up and clean work areas.
• Work to a high-quality standard.
• Safely operate and maintain spray and mixing equipment
• Communicates and collaborates with team members and other organizational functions in the sharing of information and solving customer issues.
• Apply gel coat and using HVLP paint gun or gel coat cup sprayers
• Work with resins include Epoxy, Polyester and Vinylesters
• Remove parts from mold
• Inspect Laminated parts for defects
• Trim and repair laminations as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Post Production Laminator Qualifications / Requirements :

• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• High School Diploma or General Education (GED) required.
• Knowledge of laminating, hand tools and other equipment.
• Able to read blueprints Preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
• Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment.
• Able to manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to be flexible and apply new programs and technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid problem-solving skills / techniques.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and cooperate in achieving company goals.

Hours 6 : 30a.m. - 2 : 30p.m. Monday - Friday
