Riveter Consulting Group is assisting a client in Orange County with their search for the right full-time, long-term Family / Personal Assistant.
MUST have an extremely flexible schedule, ability to travel domestically and internationally, love dogs, and appreciate humor!
Schedule : Typically Monday to Friday 9 : 00am to 5 : 00pm with the flexibility to work overtime or occasional weekends for events, projects, travels.
The client typically travels on their own during the holidays, which will allow for some time off and a less busy schedule.
Responsibilities :
- Correspond and collaborate with household staff at multiple properties
- Calendaring, scheduling, and updating of family calendar via Google Suite
- Run errands throughout the day with the client’s staff vehicle
- Pick up, drive, and drop off young teens from school and other activities with the flexibility to drive long distances with occasional overnights out of town
- Errands regarding grocery and personal shopping
- Online gift shopping and ordering
- Household, cleaning supply, and kitchen inventory; correspondence with part-time chef
- Assist the housekeeper as needed if she’s out; empty the dishwasher, take out trash, tidy up as needed, be a team player!
- Source, schedule, and correspond with contractors and vendors on the family’s behalf
- Assist with pet care for dogs as needed
- Unpack boxes in the home after a move and create organizational systems
- Pack and unpack for travels
- Research
- Travel coordination for family trips
- Travel with the family occasionally from a few days to up to a week or so
- Car maintenance and service, get gas
- Oversee renovations
- Source vendors for repairs
Requirements :
- Previous Family / Personal Assistant experience in a private household
- Experience working with HNW families is preferred
- Strong Google Spreadsheet and calendaring skills
- Ability to confidently negotiate with vendors and contractors
- Clean background and driving record
- Strong verifiable references
- Valid driver’s license and Passport with the ability to travel internationally
- No vaping, smoking, etc.
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Currently local to Orange County with a short commute
- Experience working in Orange County with a rolodex of vendors is a plus
- Strong scheduling, booking, research, and online shopping skills
- No animal allergies
- Must be extremely confidential with discretion
