PositionSummary :
TheMarketing and Partnerships Manager will work closely with theMarketing Consultant and will help support existing marketingprograms while collaborating with leadership in the development ofnew initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
The Marketingand Partnerships Manager will drive and execute a wide range ofmarketing functions including programming and events communicationssocial media and partnerships while adhering to the organization smarketingstandards.
Thisrole will be responsible for developing and implementing marketinginitiatives to promote the Fifth Avenue brand including overseeinginitiatives that create positive awareness for Fifth Avenue and itsmembers generating income for the organization and supportingdistrictwide marketing efforts.
This position also will promotecommunication and partnership across all levels of membershipwithin the Fifth Avenue Business District including retailershotels restaurants and other businesses and cultivate positiverelationships within thecommunity.
Successwithin this role will be reached through strong initiativeorganizational skills responsiveness and prioritization with anability to multitask many diverse projects at once and a solidability to execute the workload quickly andefficiently.

EssentialDuties
MarketingStrategy andExecution
- Oversee anddirectly implement Fifth Avenue s marketing and communicationsefforts including general brand management email newsletter socialmedia website media placement and preparation of collateralmaterials.
- Coordinate andmanage the moving parts of various marketing events andcampaigns.
- Collaborate withleadership to propose new programming and event initiatives tosupport the overarchingstrategy.
- Manage thedevelopment and distribution of internal and external marketingmaterials including neighborhood guides sponsorship decks campaignrecaps andmore.
- Oversee parts ofthe planning and implementation of public programming Fifth AvenueBlooms Holiday Open Streets andmore.
- Support FifthAvenue rebranding and new website; maintain website content on anongoingbasis.
- Support themanagement of Fifth Avenue s digital and social media presenceincluding content planning engagement strategies paid promotion andcollaborations while seeking opportunities to grow digitalcommunications.
- Create proofreadand edit copy for various communications channels ensuring aconsistent brandmessage.
- Support inmanaging external communications vendors including a social mediaagency and PR agency asneeded.
- Coordinate andmanage events some of which may occur on mornings evenings and / orweekends.
- Demonstrate astrong understanding of the role of the work within the largermarketing strategy and businessoperation.
- Perform otherduties asassigned.
MemberEngagement and Outreach
- Operate as a keypoint of contact for all incoming and outgoing membercommunications events partnerships and programming with FifthAvenuebusinesses.
- Cultivate closeworking relationships with member representatives including Retailand Hotel General Managers Concierge teams Directors of ClientEngagement Marketing managers and more.
Understands the specificroles of each ofeach.
- Support newmember store openings through the creation and delivery of welcomepackets newspaper drops partnership decks andmore.
- Oversee andcollaborate with the Marketing & Content Manager andCoordinator to identify and contacting new businesses in thedistrict to understand their marketing goals and publish NewNeighbor posts through our digital channels.
- Assistleadership in gaining participation and sponsorship for FAAseasonal activations andpromotions.
- Lead memberengagement independently and proactively understanding their needsand concerns to provide support and resources when able.
- Ensureinformation is shared and vetted with appropriate parties withinand outside of theorganization.
Administrative
- Responsible forimplementing best practices and improving the department s overallfunctionality including maintaining contact databases maintainingdepartment activity calendar reporting and organizingassets.
- Manages projecttimelines and budgets ensuring campaigns are delivered ontime andwithinbudget.
- Must have theutmost appreciation of and ability to handle a myriad of taskslarge and small as required by staff members of a smallorganization.
BasicQualifications :
- Bachelor sdegree in Marketing Communications Business Administration orrelatedfield .
- Minimum of fiveyears of experience in marketing communications communityengagement programming and event management business clientmanagement public relations city government nonprofit management orrelatedfield.
- Experience andstrong interest in retail and fashion culture and / or economicdevelopment. Multibrand experience ispreferred.
- Provenexperience coordinating marketing initiatives andcampaigns.
- Firm grasp onvarious marketing platforms channels campaign execution and bestpractices including social digital and emailmarketing.
- Excellent verbaland written communicationskills
- Understanding ofhow various marketing functions work together and the drive anddesire to grow within the marketingindustry
- Experienceworking with stakeholders from luxurybrands.
- Marketingexperience within multibrand or Business Improvement District (BID)environments.
- Strongorganizational and project management skills as well as attentiontodetail.
- Stronganalytical and problemsolvingskills.
- Ability tomanage multiple tasks and pivot whenneeded.
- Must be aselfstarter and able to move projects forward prioritize tasks andmeet deadlines with minimalguidance.
- Proficient usinga personal computer (PC) and company communication tools such asemail internet and Microsoft products (e.
g. Word Excel OfficeOutlook). Graphic design experience is aplus.
- Willingness andability to support events that periodically occur during theevening and / orweekends.
- Proactiveselfstarter with the ability to work independently and as part of ateam.
- Demonstrates astrong ability to collaborate with internal and externalstakeholders.
- Experiencecoordinating and managingevents.
- Strongcopywriting and proofreadingskills.
- Ahigh level ofcreativity.
- Travel withinthe New York City area up to 10% may berequired.

Ability tocommunicate clearly on atelephone.

Salaryrange : $commensurate withexperience.
Requiredin office 4 days per week working remotely 1 day aweek.
