Product Engineer

Job Summary :
The Product Engineer will play a key role in the development and improvement of lighting products. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including testing agencies and the assembly team, to ensure products meet quality standards and are optimized for performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and enhance lighting products to meet market demands and customer needs.
- Coordinate with testing agencies to ensure products undergo necessary testing and certification processes.
- Conduct testing and evaluation of product samples to verify performance and quality.
- Collaborate with the assembly team to establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for product assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze market and industry product trends.
- Evaluate market research and regulations to develop new product concepts
- Oversee production and ensure that products conform to market specifications and safety regulations.
- Adjust the product design as needed to make it safer, or more durable and effective.
- Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development within the lighting industry.
- Strong understanding of lighting product applications, installations, and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience working with LED lighting technology.
- In-depth knowledge of CAD, AutoCAD, and Solidworks software.
- Proficient in product testing and evaluation methodologies.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
