Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Laundry Aide for (facility). The Laundry Aide provides a variety of laundry duties in an orderly, sanitary condition and in collecting and laundering of linens, garments, and washables.
Laundry Aide Essential Functions :
- Sorts all linens and treat stains.
- Loads all laundry into washer and adds specified cleaning agents.
- Takes wet, clean items and dries as directed
- Sorts and folds or hangs clean dried items.
- Maintains inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicates needs to manager.
- Maintains all laundry equipment and informs facility’s manager as to any maintenance needs.
- Performs additional laundry services when necessary.
Education and Experience Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in an institutional setting performing housekeeping services is desired
- Must be able to read, speak and understand the English language
