West Technology has partnered with a leading Western Sydney import and distribution business to find a proactive Data Analyst who excels in Power BI data analysis and has proven experience in systems and application support.

About the opportunity
As a Power BI Data Analyst / Systems Support Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing, customising, and maintaining business data information systems as well as occasional systems and application support as needed.
Key responsibilities include :
- Utilise your expertise in data analysis to provide business units with timely access to reliable, repeatable, and insightful reporting, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct audits to ensure the accuracy of master data, identifying trends that may indicate data quality issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, implementing changes to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
- Manage system backups and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure data protection and recoverability in the event of a disaster.
- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
About you
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and proficiency in data visualisation tools, particularly Power BI and Excel.
- Strong background in systems and application support.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar SaaS ERP / CRM systems is a plus.
- Previous exposure to the FMCG industry is highly valued.
- Familiarity with security policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
