Overview
This position provides senior-level support to a major administrative and operational organization within the Department of Defense (DoD).
The role involves advising senior executives and leading initiatives to enhance business processes and workforce management across divisions.

- Lead business process improvement initiatives, including updating and documenting processes and facilitating their development.
- Manage project communications and deliverables, ensuring clarity and timeliness in reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Conduct workforce assessments, analyze organizational metrics, and optimize workforce structures.
- Maintain personnel data systems and prepare reports for senior leadership.
- Support conference preparations and manage correspondence and appointments as needed.
The ideal candidate is familiar and has experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities :

Qualifications
Education and Experience : This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in project management and business process improvement, preferably within the DoD.
Experience in in human capital management and workforce optimization is highly desirable. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Location : Work is performed on-site at the Pentagon three days a week and via telework. Employees will work in proximity with Government personnel.
Clearance : This position requires an active SECRET security clearance. Must be a . citizen.
Physical Requirements : The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation :
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
- Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
