Manager of BHAS Operations and Maintenance
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Housing Facilities Operations and Maintenance the Manager of Operations and Maintenance is an integral member of the Facilities Management Operations and Maintenance Team.
Assisting with managing a staff of union Electricians, Operating Engineers, Engineer Apprentices and Maintenance Mechanic's.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) staff of all on campus residence halls, University owned off campus apartments, food service locations and University retail spaces.
The Manager under the supervision of the Senior Manager provides direction and supervision of the maintenance team, vendors and third-party contractors as needed with the following functions : maintenance and strategic planning of the operations and maintenance of all residence hall and retail spaces including but not limited to, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, building systems, and furnishings for assigned areas.
Job Summary
Manages building operations and maintenance and monitors provided services to ensure compliance with schedule, budget, and standards.
Coordinates all internal and external contractors, workers, and vendors. Designs a suggestion and complaints system and ensures resolution.
Schedules shutdowns and coordinates emergency response efforts.
Essential Functions
Requires minimum supervision. Work is expected to be performed autonomously.

Move freely throughout campus and remote locations.
