Duties & Responsibilities
Provide primary care to pregnant women during antepartum and intrapartum, and the immediate postpartum recovery periodPerform newborn assessment and care during intrapartum and immediate postpartum recovery periodCirculate in the L&D OR with cesarean sections, tubals, and D&Cs.Deliver primary care to the immediate postoperative / postpartum patient in L&D PACUAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate the obstetrical patient's needs using the nursing processActively participate in providing obstetrical patient care as defined by the multidisciplinary plan of careQualifications
RN with a current SC licenseADN candidates must be enrolled in a BSN program within 18 months from date of hire and are required to obtain BSN within four (4) years of date of hire. For current AnMed Health associate degree Nurses (ADN) who were hired as RNs prior to January 1, 2013, and already working as an acute care Staff Nurse as of that date, the requirement to obtain BSN within four (4) years will be waived.Preferred Qualifications
