Job Description

Location : Urbana, OH

Job Title : Assembler - 1st Shift

We design and manufacture the world's leading industrial and IT enclosures, racks, and accessories, including high-efficiency, high-density power management, and climate control systems for industrial, data center, outdoor, and hybrid applications.Primary Activities / Duties :

\n

  • Assemble components and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.

\n

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete assembly tasks.

    • \n

  • Perform visual checks to ensure parts and assemblies meet quality standards.

    • \n

  • Package finished products and prepare them for shipment or further processing.

    • \n

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6-S and safety standards.

    • \n

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.

    • \n

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.

    • \n

  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.

    • \n

  • Other duties as assigned.

    • \n \n Requirements : \n

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the shift.

    • \n

  • Lift 25-50 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above shoulder level.

    • \n

  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing assignments.

    • \n

  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams in English.

    • \n

  • Basic computer skills; ability to learn and use software systems as needed.

    • \n

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    • \n \n Safety Requirements :

    \n

  • Wear safety-toed footwear

    • \n

  • Safety glasses with side shields

    • \n

  • Hearing protection

    • \n

  • Other PPE as required.

    • \n \n Knowledge & Experience :

    \n

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

    • \n

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.

    • \n

  • Familiarity with hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic mechanical skills.

    • \n

  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is helpful.

    • \n \n Work Environment :

  • Warehouse and manufacturing areas with exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, and noise.

    • \n
