Job Description

• Collecting and providing initial analysis of data to be used by the purchasing teams.
• Ensuring proposals / quotes are completely and appropriately completed, verify product and pricing information and contacting potential suppliers for clarification.
• Producing reports tracking contract expiration dates or spending for assigned categories or departments.
• Overseeing new vendor setup in procurement or purchasing systems, and ensures that systems are appropriately maintained and updated.
• Coordinating continuous improvement projects related to stores and inventories.
• May track shipments or verify quantities received against purchase orders / invoices.

Qualifications

• Get involved with team members in cyclical inventory counting.
• Completed DEC combined with three (3) to five (S) years of experience as a team leader in the industrial, warehousing and operations field.
• Ease of making decisions, coordinating, organizing and supervising a work team.
• Ability to manage several files at once and multiple deadlines.
• Good sense of organization and priority management
• Ability to carry up to 50lbs
