As a Full Stack Software Engineer III- Java / React / Kubernetes / Cloud at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate and Investment Bank, Payments Technology, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Designs and develops robust fullstack applications using Java, spring boot and .Net frameworks
• Maintains and enhances existing software solutions, ensure high performance, responsiveness and seamless integration across systems
• Implements modern microservice architectures and develops APIs for internal and external use
• Works with containerization technologies like Kubernetes to orchestrate and scale applications
• Collaborates with cross functional teams to gather and define requirements and ensure our solution meets business needs
• Applies best practices for database integration and management using both oracle and MongoDB
• Troubleshoots, debugs and upgrades existing software, and provides technical support for deployed application
• Contributes to the entire SDLC, from planning, design, deployment and maintenance

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Strong background in Java (Java 17+ JDK), Springboot, Microservices
• Demonstrated hands-on experience inKubernetes (Containerization and orchestration) and Cloud
• Experience with UI development using ReactJs, JavaScript, typescript
• Solid understanding in Oracle
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI / CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

• MongoDb knowledge
• Net Development experience
