Memorial Hospital's Long Term Care Facility, Merriman House, is hiring for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)!
Up to a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus for LPNs, and up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus for RNs!
Current MaineHealth employees are not eligible - must be separated form MaineHealth for at least 6-months*
RN Summary :
The Registered Nurse - Long Term Care role provides high quality resident patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
RN Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) :
1. Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
2. License / Certifications : Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience : One year of RN or LPN experience preferred.
4. Additional Skills / Requirements Required : N / A

LPN Summary :
Under direction of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse - Long Term Care role provides supportive and restorative care to residents, reinforces the resident and family teaching program, and administers medications and treatments according to policies, procedures, and standards of the nursing practice.
LPN Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) :
1. Education : Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program required.
2. License / Certifications : Current applicable state(s) license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. IV certification required.
3. Experience : One year of relevant experience preferred.
4. Additional Skills / Requirements Required : N / A
