Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Job Description

Saint Luke's Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated Emergency Services Float Pool . In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to support all four of our metro-area hospitals , delivering high-quality, compassionate care across diverse ED settings.

Shift : Part Time Nights (6 : 45pm-7 : 15am)

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide expert, patient-centered nursing care in fast-paced emergency departments.
• Adapt quickly to various clinical environments and team dynamics.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Support core values of Saint Luke's : excellence, compassion, integrity, and teamwork.

Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department. Tier 3 will work at four metro hospital entities.

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
