About the role :
- Assesses students' speech-language abilities and develops treatment plans.
- Delivers direct speech-language therapy services aligned with IEPs.
- Develops goals and conducts assessments in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
- Prior knowledge of AAC modalities and implementation techniques.
- Passion for supporting complex communicators and flexibility in your approach.
- Willingness to collaborate and engage with all key stakeholders including colleagues, school administration, and caregivers.
- Ensures that evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery strictly adhere to school, state, and federal guidelines.
- Embraces additional responsibilities that contribute to our collective mission.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in school-based and / or pediatric settings is preferred.
- A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) through ASHA.
- A valid Maryland SLP license from the Maryland Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
