About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Inpatient Nursing - Surgical Specialties Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 1st Shift, 12-hour weekend day shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum years of experience not specified License : Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-State Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Certifications : American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an approved equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
Must-Have : Experience with CADD pumps (epidural and nerve block pumps) Job Description : Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment- Demonstrate competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population- Practice nursing theory and practice at a level required for licensure as a Registered Nurse- Enroll in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program if a non-BSN nurse with less than one year of experience, with program acceptance expected within 15 months and completion within 5 years (6 years if pursuing MSN, DNP, or PhD in Nursing)- Maintain clinical competence and experience in care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment- Provide care and management of patients with CADD pumps Languages : Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write)
