American Healthcare Resources is urgently seeking a passionate and caring Speech Pathologist to join our team.
Job Summary :
- Tuesdays and Thursday 8 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 00 p.m. Wednesdays : 8 : 00 a.m. - 12 : 00 p.m. scheduled workdays

Key Responsibilities :
- Provide evidence-based evaluation and treatment to a diverse, medically challenging patient population.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote best patient care standards.
- Perform indicated procedures, such as Modified Barium Swallow studies and management of patients with laryngeal speech, including tracheoesophageal puncture voice restoration and voice therapy.
- Provide clinical teaching for students rotating through the specialty.
Required Qualifications :
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensed by the Alabama Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology and Audiology.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship and Certification of Clinical Competency from ASHA before hire.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Background screening, 10-panel drug screen, and TB skin test within the past 90 days.
- HepB Titer, Series, or Declination within the past year.
- MMR Titer or Series within the past year.
- Varicella Titer or Series within the past year.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with adult population.
- At least two years of clinical experience.
