Position : Sales Floor Associate - Flooring Store

What You’ll Do : Customer Service :
Customer Service :
- Welcome customers with a smile and assist them in finding the right flooring products for their needs.
- Answer questions about our products, availability, and pricing with confidence.
- Guide customers through the selection process, sharing your knowledge and offering friendly advice.
Product Knowledge :
- Stay up-to-date on our wide range of flooring options, understanding their features, benefits, and basic installation needs.
- Educate customers about the different types of flooring and help them choose the best fit for their home.
- Inform customers about product care, warranties, and additional services we offer to ensure their satisfaction.
Sales Support :
- Process customer orders quickly and accurately, ensuring a smooth shopping experience.
- Prepare sales documents and coordinate with our team that will further the process.
- Assist customers with transactions, whether it's handling cash, processing card payments, or providing quotes.
Flooring Display and Merchandising :
- Keep our sales floor looking great! Ensure it’s tidy, well-organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist in maintaining an samples on the sales floor.
Administrative Support :
- Help maintain accurate sales records and keep customer information up to date.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry.
- Participate in store meetings and training sessions to stay informed and engaged.
Team Collaboration :
- Work closely with your fellow sales associates, production team, and management to achieve store goals.
- Lend a hand to your teammates during busy times and step in to cover when needed.
- Be an active participant in team-building activities and contribute to a positive, friendly store atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For :
- A friendly personality with a passion for customer service.
- A willingness to learn about flooring products (experience is a plus but not required!).
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and multitask efficiently.
- Basic computer skills for processing sales and managing records.
- Physical ability to lift and move sample products when needed.
Bonus Points :
- Experience in retail or sales, especially in flooring or home improvement.
- A background or interest in interior design or home renovation.
Working Conditions :
- Be prepared to be on your feet! This role requires standing and walking for most of the day.
- Some lifting may be involved when moving or stocking samples
- Flexibility with your schedule, including weekends.
