AECOM is seeking a Design Manager (Design Build) to be based in Seattle, WA
Job Responsibilities
- Manages and leads a team of professionals, overseeing the design of large-complex projects.
- Manages design effort, design schedule, and budgets.
- Change and risk management.
- Coordinates client needs and develops / builds on relationships for future opportunities.
- Mentors, develops, and hires support staff.
- Monitors contract compliance and leads project dispute / resolution process.
- Leads and assists in the development of future design-build proposals.
- Builds and maintains relationships with project owners / AHJ's.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree + Ten (10) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
Preferred Qualifications :
- 20+ years of transportation project experience
- Experienced with Design Build delivery for final design
- WSDOT Design Build Project Experience
- Experience leading and managing transportation design-build projects with WSDOT's on large complex highway projects.
- Experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment.
- State Professional Engineer License, or the ability to obtain within twelve months.
- Excellent Communication Skills and Ability to Lead Staff
- Position will require frequent travel to project and client sites
Additional Information
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $170,000.00 - $261,000.00.
