About The Position
Job Title : Mammography Technologist Job Specialty : Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography Job Duration : 9 months Shift : Day - 5x7.
5 hours, 8 AM 4 PM Guaranteed Hours : 37.5 hours per week Experience : 1 year in Mammography Tech and Radiologic Tech License : Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH Certifications : Post-primary certification in mammography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required;
BLS preferred Must-Have : - 1 year of mammography technologist experience- Relevant equipment proficiency- High School Diploma or GED Job Description : Perform diagnostic radiology and mammography procedures- Participate in weekend and holiday shifts as required- Engage in patient care and ensure safety standards are upheld- Attend and complete any necessary orientation or training sessions- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures- Conduct interviews preferably in-person, or virtually if necessaryInterviews are highly preferred in-person for better engagement, but virtual options are available if needed.
The role is looking for dedicated professionals who can accurately handle mammography equipment and work collaboratively within a team.
