ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers (SPED) for multiple full-time positions in San Leandro, CA, for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
We have openings in both TK-5th grade and 4th / 5th grade, offering a unique opportunity to work with diverse student populations.
Position Details :
- Grade Levels : TK-5th grade and 4th / 5th grade
- Caseload : Managing and supporting students with varying learning needs
Key Responsibilities :
- Instruction : Provide specialized instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of students in TK-5th or 4th / 5th grades.
- IEP Management : Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Collaboration : Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Assessment : Regularly assess student progress, adjust instructional strategies as needed, and ensure alignment with IEP goals.
Qualifications :
- Licensure : Must hold a valid California Special Education teaching credential.
- Experience : Previous experience in a special education setting, particularly with TK-5th or 4th / 5th grade students, is preferred.
- Skills : Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
