With a reach that includes millions of users, over 10 million reviews, and over 4 million unique wines , our team has grown from 5 to a dynamic ensemble of 20 over the last 2 years.

As we embark on our next chapter, we're eager for you to contribute to our evolving narrative.

We are seeking a talented AI Engineer with full stack development expertise to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing AI-driven solutions that will revolutionize how our users interact with their wine collections.

The ideal candidate is proficient in both front-end and back-end development and has substantial experience with Azure technologies.

As an Azure-centric organization, we extensively utilize Azure OpenAI and other Azure capabilities to power our technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven features and applications using Azure OpenAI and other Azure capabilities. As an example, imagine implementing a feature that allows users to interact with their wine collection through chat-based queries.
  • Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create seamless user experiences.
  • Build and maintain scalable and efficient back-end systems. An example could be developing a robust API to support AI-driven insights and recommendations for wine pairing based on user preferences and historical data.
  • Integrate machine learning models and algorithms into production environments.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in AI and machine learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in back-end development (Node.js, SQL).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure AI Studio, Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, Azure Synapse, etc.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to unblock yourself.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with wine and a desire to lead in the category is a must.
  • Previous experience working in a startup environment.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.
