maintenance technician
Great opportunity for a Maintenance Tech, (1st shift) , to join the team of a leading area manufacturer in the Verona area! The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the maintenance, quality, equipment and utilities in support of manufacturing.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and structural repairs on non-critical equipment
- Assist in the execution of PMs on critical equipment
- Perform non-scheduled maintenance, on all non-critical equipment, in a timely manner as requested via the CMMS system
- Review and document all repairs, alarms and PM activities according to applicable Standard Operating Procedures
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation
- Assist in the execution of key projects design by the Facilities Engineering department
- Respond to alarms during non-business hours while on call
- Follows all protocols and procedures as defined by Quality Assurance and Health, Safety and Environmental department directives.
Qualifications
- High School diploma and minimum of 1 year experience in a maintenance related field within a manufacturing company
- Use of basic hand and power tools
- Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting experience
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
