Associate Engineer

Impact As an Associate Engineer working in the Retailer Integration space you will help deliver new features and experiences to our external retailer partners.

You will be working with a team of 4-5 other engineers to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain application code using Golang, Redis, Postgres, and Kafka in a microservices architecture.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

• You know how to develop backend software applications using object-oriented programming languages.
• You have experience with or are eager to learn GoLang You have experience database systems and event-driven messaging systems You are passionate about software development, learning different domain knowledge, and solving problems.

You are a self-directed individual that enjoys freedom in your work. Knowledge of testing fundamentals; unit, integration, end to end, etc.

Work Arrangement Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections.

Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role. Pay range : Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Seattle and New York City : $74,732-$149,463 Metro Areas of Los Angeles and San Francisco : $115,763.

35-$149,463 All other locations : $62,186-$124,481 Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
