Overview

The Cost & Finance Program Analyst will join the PRIME unit of the Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator and Health Diplomacy (S / GAC) in Washington, D.

C. The candidate will provide critical support in data analysis and strategic insight, necessitating the ability to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance.

Collaborating closely with various S / GAC teams, U.S. government agencies, and international partners, the candidate will contribute significantly to informed decision-making, program improvement, and ultimately, the global effort to combat HIV / AIDS.

Responsible for supporting designated PEPFAR countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and / or the Latin America / Caribbean Region.

Your primary responsibility will involve analyzing the supporting costs, budgeting, and financing of HIV / AIDS interventions within PEPFAR programs.

By providing accurate and timely data, your insights will inform funding decisions for both internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Serves as a Cost and Finance Program Analyst for designated PEPFAR countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and / or Latin America / Caribbean.
  • Analyzes supporting costs, budgeting, and financing of HIV / AIDS interventions under PEPFAR implementation.
  • Provides timely and accurate data for funding decisions, including reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supports development, approval, implementation, and reporting of operational and strategic plans for PEPFAR countries and regional HIV / AIDS programs.
  • Offers strategic input into budgeting for HIV / AIDS interventions, contributing to impactful decision-making.

Qualifications

Skills / Qualifications : Must be self-motivated, have strong attention to detail, good oral and written communication skills.

Must be in good physical condition and can occasionally travel.

Education and Experience :

  • This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business or related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and inform decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.

Clearance Requirements : Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (Tier 2) clearance required.

Physical Requirements :

  • Frequently lift and / or move parts up to 40lbs, and occasionally lift and / or move parts up to 50lbs
