- ProSidian Seeks a Records Manager Policy and Procedure Development, Appeals, Education, Outreach, and Appraisal Support EHSS0009017 Engagement Team Project Manager Labor Category - STD Level Exempt Professional aligned under services related to NAICS : 541611 located Washington, DC supporting The Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) is The Department of Energy (DOE)’s central organization responsible for health, safety, environment, and security;
- providing corporate-level leadership and strategic vision to coordinate and integrate these vital programs. EHSS is responsible for policy development and technical assistance;
safety analysis; and corporate safety and security programs. The Office of Environment, Health, Safety and Security advises DOE Senior Leadership on all matters related to environment, health, safety and security across the complex.
Seeking Records Manager candidates with with relevant Energy, Resources, And Industrials Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Resources, And Industrials Sector Clients such as EHSS.
This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.
JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as a Cost Reimbursement (Records Manager) in the Energy, Resources, And Industrials Industry Sector focussing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as The Department of Energy ( DOE OC - EHSS) Office of Classification (OC) Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) Located In Washington, DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Records Manager
- Maintain central file management system
- Ensure compliance with Records Inventory and Destruction Schedule
- Maintain accountability of Classified Removable Electronic Media (CREM)
- Manage classified and unclassified records, dispatching as necessary
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications For Records Manager Policy and Procedure Development, Appeals, Education, Outreach, and Appraisal Support ( EHSS0009017 ) Candidates :
- Knowledge of records management systems and procedures
- Experience with classified / unclassified documentation
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in records management, preferably in a classified setting
Skills Required
- Detail-oriented
- Familiarity with DOE records and documentation protocols
- Ability to work with classified data
Competencies Required
Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program). Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
