About The Position

📝 Description :

  • A well-established healthcare organization in Bellefontaine, Ohio is seeking a full-time OB / GYN Physician to join a collaborative and mission-driven medical team. This permanent position offers a flexible 4-day work week, shared call, and a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services. Physicians enjoy a balanced lifestyle, strong support staff, and access to state-of-the-art facilities, just 40 minutes from the Columbus metro area.

📋 Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient OB / GYN care
  • Perform surgical procedures including cesarean sections and gynecologic surgeries
  • Attend deliveries (approx. 360 / year; 1 per day average)
  • Work 4 clinical days / week + 1 administrative day (remote optional)
  • Shared 1 : 4 weekday / weekend call schedule (must be within 30 mins of hospital)
  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and ancillary teams
  • Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR system

    • ⏰ Working Hours :

  • Monday–Friday; 4 clinical days + 1 admin day
  • 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
  • 1 : 4 weekend and weekday call rotation

    Job Requirements

    🎓 Qualifications :

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 1 year of graduation) – Required
  • Completion of ACGME- or AOA-accredited OB / GYN residency – Required
  • Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain – Required
  • DEA license or willingness to obtain – Required
  • Ability to arrive onsite within 30 minutes when on call – Required
  • Clean malpractice / licensure history – Highly Preferred
  • Locum tenens – Not accepted
