About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2685 To $2983 Job Title : Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty : Interventional Radiology (IR) Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 10 Hours Day, 4-10 hour shifts with rotating on-call shifts Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years License : MA License Certifications : ARRT, BLS Must-Have : - Interventional Radiology experience- Neuro IR (Stroke) experience- Experience in Vascular Surgery- Stroke call experience- Familiarity with EPIC, Siemens, GE, and Phillips equipment Job Description : Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center.
- Work collaboratively with a team of 6-8 technologists and 4-8 registered nurses.- Manage cases involving central venous catheters, paracentesis, thoracentesis, GI tube management, fistulagrams, GI bleeds, and Y-90.
- Conduct diagnostic cerebral angiograms and interventions, strokes - thrombectomies.- Participate in vascular surgeries such as EVAR, TEVAR, and LE angio / interventions.
- Handle complex cases involving LVADs, ECMO, IMPELLA, PE thrombectomy, TIPS, strokes, and aortic ruptures.- Respond to on-call duties with a response time ideally within 30 minutes.
- Participate in a team environment that encourages communication and continuous learning.- Engage in flexible orientation time with a preceptor until independent work is achieved (usually within 1-2 weeks).
- Chart using Cerner Corporation's Soarian 2010 system. Additional Notes : The IR team is known for being tight-knit, with a culture of mutual support and learning.
- The team often eats lunch together and is open to teaching and mentoring.- Candidates are encouraged to ask questions and speak up as part of the collaborative team environment.
