Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Clinic | Louisville, KY

Start Date : 10 / 13 / 2025 | End Date : 12 / 28 / 2025 | Assignment Length : ~11 Weeks

Shift : Days | Schedule : 5 : 00 AM – 1 : 00 PM | Guaranteed Hours : 40 / week

Weekend Requirement : Every Other Saturday (6 : 30 AM – 9 : 30 AM)

On Call : None

Position Overview :

We’re seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse to join a collaborative clinic team in Louisville, KY. This role focuses on dispensing prescribed medications and supporting patients as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. The ideal candidate demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and a non-judgmental approach toward individuals with Substance Use Disorders.

Responsibilities :

Administer daily medication to patients per medical protocols and program policy

Operate and maintain automated dispensing systems and related equipment

Manage medication inventory in compliance with DEA and state regulations

Produce and maintain required medical records and reports

Ensure security and accountability of controlled substances

Conduct daily patient assessments and report findings to supervising staff

Support orientation and training of new nursing staff as needed

Requirements :

Minimum 1 year of medication administration experience – Required

BLS (AHA) – Required

Experience in an opioid addiction treatment center – Highly Preferred
