Join Our Team as a Psychiatrist at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC!
Are you a passionate Psychiatrist seeking a fulfilling opportunity? Look no further! The George Washington University Hospital is actively seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team in Consultative Liaison and outpatient services.
This is a full-time position offering a unique balance between consultative liaison services and outpatient care.
Responsibilities :
- Serve on the psychiatry hospitalist team, providing care to medical-surgery units, the inpatient psychiatric service, and the emergency department.
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents.
- Conduct outpatient consultations and develop clinical research programs.
Qualifications :
- MD / DO degree from an accredited program.
- Board eligible or certified in Psychiatry.
- Completion of C / L Psychiatry Fellowship training preferred.
- Licensed to practice in Washington, DC or ability to obtain.
- Minimum of four to five years of training experience.
- Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
