Overview :

The AFINC III contract supporting the 26th Network Operations Squadron (26NOS) is seeking qualified Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) Engineer.

The JRSS team oversees an enterprise DoD environment supporting the USAF that requires a unique and dynamic skill set.

Experience Required :

• 7+ years' of experience with : designing, installing, configuring, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers / switches, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches
• Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments
• Optimizes, oversees, and supports Enterprise communications networks including overlaying security technologies
• Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics, reports, and recommended fix actions
• Responsible for network and security controls design review implementation and troubleshooting of IT security including hardware and software appliances
• Evaluate Cloud offerings and provides recommendations to leadership for improved mission effectiveness, cost effectiveness, and operational efficiencies
• Monitors systems utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads
• Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks, as possible
• Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate rework or for

auditing / investigation

• Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves
• Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair

• IAT - II
• CCNP Collaboration
• CCNP Data Center
• CCNP Enterprise
• CCNP Service Provider

Preferred Certifications :

• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
