Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in the Tri Cities area of Central Washington State seeks an accomplished Registered Nurse (RN) leader for their Director of Nursing (DON, DNS) role who can elevate their caliber of care and improve clinical outcomes in the community.
Strong base pay in the $125K to $140K range, plus full benefits and bonus potential are all waiting for the top candidate!

This client will assist with the cost of relocation if needed.
Director of Nursing jobs require a candidate who has significant critical care and operations management experience, a strong understanding of skilled nursing standards of care, and federal and state regulations including Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement rules.
A high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and compassionate leadership qualities are must-haves. Candidates must be able to think critically, and adapt quickly to new situations.
Job duties include :
- Directing the nursing program, including implementing new policies and procedures when necessary
- Overseeing and developing nursing & care staff
- Communicating with families, residents, and physicians as needed
- Developing a business plan and budget for the nursing unit
- Participating in creating resident care plans and ensuring they are followed
- Ensuring the nursing unit is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations

Ideal candidates will bring :
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
- Several stable years of DON experience in a skilled nursing setting, or excellent ADON background with a track record of success
- Clear communication and customer service skills

- Ability to connect with staff, residents & families
- An enjoyment of mentoring and educating teams
