Primary Care Assistant MA or LPN - NW Expressway

Mercy Primary Care Clinic is seeking a full-time (40 hours a week)

LPN or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team.

OVERVIEW :

Assists the physician and office staff with selected duties to include clerical processing, patient preparation, scheduling, lab, x-ray and medical records.

• Clinic Schedule : Monday - Friday, availability between 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm
• Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 for continuing education.

Qualifications :

Primary Care Assistant - Medical Assistant :

Education : High School Diploma or GED.

Certification : Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire .

Preferred Experience : 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Primary Care Assistant - Certified Medical Assistant :

Education : High School Diploma or GED.

Certification : Must have active Medical Assistant certification / registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA; EMT / Paramedic also accepted). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Experience : Phlebotomy. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

LPN Qualifications :

Education : Diploma in Practical Nursing

Licensure : Active LPN licensure in the state of practice.

Preferred Experience : 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
