Minimum 1+ years deaf & hard of hearing experience required.
We are currently looking for a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacherto work with a school district near Portland, OR. This is a great opportunityfor the upcoming school year with a strong level of support on staff.
Job Type :
- Develop and implement lesson plans for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, using appropriate strategies, materials, and technology
- Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula according to IEP guidelines
- Conduct ongoing assessments of student learning, manage classroom environments, oversee instructional aides, and maintain required reports
- Pay is estimated to be $25 to $35 an hour
Qualifications :
- Masters Level Degree in Education for Teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students
- Requires State Teaching Certification in Deaf Education
