The Company

Our Client is a brand experience agency and they are looking for an Senior Creative Director to join their team in a FT capacity. New growth role. The client is a full-service agency delivering a portfolio of conferences, exhibitions, festivals and activations. The company delivers events and experience for a diverse array of brands across numerous verticals.

The Role

The Senior Creative Director will be responsible for developing and mentoring a creative and design team under them. The Senior Creative Director will work across a range of B2B and B2C events and experience from conferences to exhibitions to tradeshows and activations. This role is for a highly experienced Senior Creative Director who can drive the creative process and concepting from inception to execution for events, and cultivate a team under them. Remote hybrid within the New York City area.

Key responsibilities will include :

  • Leading the creative process (conception of theme, design, creation, strategy rationale, implementation) whilst collaborating with production teams, freelancers and vendors to ensure successful delivery of defined projects
  • Leading and mentoring creative and design staff
  • Understanding the client. The business, brand, products, customers, audience experience
  • Taking the clients objectives and problems in a brief and translating them into creative, innovative and immersive experiences and content, both live and digital
  • Client relationship management and communications

This Job is Ideal for Someone who has

  • 8-10 years Experiential / Brand Experience agency background in events, preferably as a Creative Director, Senior Creative Director or Design Director
  • Background in experiential 3D / spatial and / or graphic design, ideally
  • A passion for events and drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure agency environment
  • Experience in weaving themes and strategic messaging into communications that target a variety of live and digital audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment (in person and remotely), consider various viewpoints. Able to present options and solutions, thoughtfully and confidently.
  • Passion for your craft
  • Proven experience working with multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong Client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Experience managing and writing Client briefs
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Flexible, dependable, detail orientated, innovative, motivated and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional events
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently remotely. This role will remote hybrid in New York City.
  • The Candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed; as well as participate in overnight travel for events
  • Local and interstate travel may be required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

    • The anticipated package for this position is $175,000 - $200,000 + benefits, dependent on experience. The package is based on a range of factors, including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, job-related qualifications, complexity of the role, market considerations, geographic location and region, and budgetary considerations. This is the anticipated total compensation package (including base salary), which may include additional company benefits such as bonuses, commission, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and retirement.
