Responsibilities include managing low and high-risk pregnancies, performing various obstetric procedures, and conducting gynecological surgeries. The position involves a clinic schedule combined with on-call duties, requiring board certification and an active medical license in Colorado.

Length / Need : ASAP-ongoing

Travel & Lodging will be covered or reimbursed

Medical Malpractice will be covered

Schedule :

  • Clinic + Call
  • Clinic Mon-Thur is 9a 4 : 30p and Fri is 9a 3 : 30p.
  • 24 hour call from 7am Sunday 7am Monday.
  • Call-back Percentage- Weekdays 2%, Weekend 5%, OB 20%, GYN 80%

Details :

  • Practice Setting- Inpatient & Outpatient
  • Patient Per Shift- Clinic 20, Hospital 1-2
  • 3 deliveries per day
  • No. of exam rooms- 12
  • OB / GYNs in your group : 5
  • Total number of beds : 350
  • Trauma level III

    • Procedures :

  • Low risk pregnancy Pt s with pre-existing problems, history of twins, history of toxemia, pyelonephritis, hyperemesis, etc.
  • High risk pregnancy Pt. s with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc.
  • FHR interpretation NST / CST / FSE
  • OB ultrasounds - Level I / screening (viability) & Level II / targeted (anatomic)
  • Routine delivery Vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section
  • Complicated delivery C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc.
  • VBAC s
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • Office / minor gynecology IUD, Cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
  • Surgical gynecology open
  • Laparoscopic diagnostic / minor only tubal ligation, LOA s, chronal tubation &
  • Operative / major (includes diagnostic) ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA s

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certified,
  • Active CO license
  • BLS, ACLS
  • NRP
  • Clean Malpractice
  • Covid Vaccinated
