The Opportunity : We are seeking a versatile and motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant / Assistant Construction Superintendent.
This dual role will provide crucial administrative support to our management team while also assisting in the oversight and coordination of construction projects across our properties.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, possess strong organizational skills, and exhibit a keen attention to detail.
Duties & Functions :
- Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings
- Process invoices for payment using established CSI Format codes
- Solicit quotes / proposal from vendors and subcontractors
- Prepare construction budgets & schedules in established formats
- Prepare periodic reports on status of ongoing jobs
- Maintain database of sub-contractor qualifications (OSHA Certifications, Insurance, Etc.)
- Assist the Construction Superintendent with coordination of contractors, subs & vendors, recording & completion of punch lists, etc.
Qualification Standards :
- 5 years of experience in the Construction or Real Estate Industry
- Familiarity with general construction methods & materials, material & finish selection process, etc.
- Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings
- Office Management / Administrative Assistant experience
- Familiarity with Construction Management software such as Procore
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
