Job Description
Knott Laboratory, LLC is seeking a full-time Licensed Professional Land Surveyor, PLS , in the Denver Metro or Front Range area in Colorado.
The Professional Land Surveyor, PLS, will perform boundary and topographical surveys, legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easements and right-of-way, research, and subdivision platting.
The successful candidate will have experience with surveying and partnering with multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, drafting and business development.
Requirements :
- 5+ years’ experience as a Professional Licensed Surveyor, PLS.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Colorado, required.
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure during employment with Knott Laboratory.
- Resident of the Front Range area, Colorado.
- Knowledgeable with professional survey standards, codes, and survey related procedures.
- Prior experience directing drafting technicians and proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Project management experience and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders including clients, peers, and junior staff.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and balance multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.
- Colorado Driver’s license and driving record which meets KL Safety Program requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary : 80k-120k, commensurate with experience and licensure.
