Job Title : Diesel Mechanic - Veteran Preferred Location : Tampa, FL Job Type : Full-time Salary : Competitive, based on experience We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to join our team in Dallas, TX.
This position is ideal for a veteran with mechanical experience who is looking for a career in the diesel industry. Responsibilities : Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, tune-ups, and fluid level checks Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems with diesel engines and related systems Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues Work with other mechanics and technicians to complete complex repairs Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance work performed Maintain a safe and clean work environment Provide excellent customer service to our clients Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems with diesel engines Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must have a valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications : Experience with Cummins, Caterpillar, and Detroit diesel engines ASE Certification Military experience as a mechanic or technician We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
