Position Overview :
We are seeking an energetic, dynamic, and strategic Sales Director to lead our sales team of 11, while also driving your own sales pipeline.
As a player-coach, you will be responsible for fostering a high-performance, data-driven sales culture (90%) while maintaining personal sales contributions (10%).
You will play a critical role in shaping the next phase of our sales journey by leveraging your experience in building and leading a successful team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership & Strategy :
- Build a high-performance, high-accountability sales culture driven by data and evidence to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Mentor and coach sales team members in key areas such as territory planning, prospecting, pipeline building, and executing sales processes.
- Create, implement, and maintain effective sales strategies and processes to drive team success.
- Sales Operations :
- Present and sell company services to new and existing customers.
- Conduct ride-alongs with sales team members to support and drive their success.
- Lead weekly pipeline forecast meetings, utilizing Salesforce (our CRM), and reporting to leadership.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and insurance reimbursements, maintaining a competitive edge.
- Team Development :
- Attract, hire, and retain top-performing sales talent as the company grows.
- Promote exceptional customer service and teamwork throughout the sales organization.
- Cross-functional Support :
- Assist with other areas of the business, such as laboratory operations, if required.
- Attend leadership meetings and contribute to company growth using the EOS model.
Qualifications :
- Experience :
- 7+ years of active sales experience, with 5+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of holding team members accountable for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer satisfaction.
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Skills :
- Passion for sales and a natural ability to inspire and lead a team.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to design and implement efficient sales routes and processes.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
