Using symptom-based protocols to assess and advise regarding injuries and illnesses.Our ideal candidate comes with at least 5 years of pediatric nursing experience, preferably in emergency, urgent care, or pediatric primary care environments, and is available to work on-site during evenings and weekends.

This position is not Remote and will be based at the Support Center in Atlanta GA. Hours are 5PM-11PM for Part-time and 5PM-1AM for Fulltime.

Experience* 1 year of RN experience; pediatrics highly preferredPreferred Qualifications* Bachelor of Science in NursingEducation* Graduation from accredited school of nursingCertification Summary* Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact* Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment* Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) within 1 year of employmentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities* No minimally required knowledge, skills, or abilitiesJob ResponsibilitiesPRACTICE (Caring for the Patient)1.

Performs nursing process across the continuum to deliver age and developmentally appropriate patient-family-centered care.

2.Integrates values and language preferences into healthcare delivery through a culturally sensitive process.3.Utilizes clinical decision support tools and resources to recognize issues, prioritize care, and modify plan of care as needed.

4.Utilizes appropriate documentation tools to record, measure, and retrieve healthcare data.5.Provides patient and family education appropriate for identified learning needs.

6.Utilizes resources to plan and provide nursing care that is safe, effective, and financially responsible.DEVELOPMENT (Fostering Clinical Knowledge)1.

Participates in lifelong learning to maintain knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.2.Incorporates new knowledge into nursing practice to support desired outcomes.
