Job Summary : The Technician - Medical / Surgical will support the HT5 Women’s Health and Pediatric Practice department at NYP Weill Cornell Medical Center.
The role involves assisting medical staff with patient care in a pediatric setting, performing phlebotomy, and supporting various medical and surgical tasks.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities :
- Assist medical staff with patient care in the Women's Health and Pediatric Practice department.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures.
- Support various medical and surgical tasks as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation and patient records are maintained.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical area.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Previous Medical Assistant (MA) experience.
- Experience in phlebotomy.
- Preferably has experience in pediatrics.

Blue scrubs.
