Software Engineer Full Stack Application Developer - AVP

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 8+ years of application development experience overall. This is an onsite position in our Quincy Location.

As a Full Stack Application Software Engineer - (AVP) you will :

• Write application UI and backend code
• Develop reusable components
• Consult with technical team, SQA and business analysts on aspects of functional specifications
• Identify and resolve application issues and bugs
• Produce quality code within a reasonable timeline
• Participation in design review and code review
• Provide assessments of task duration, complexity, progress, and risk to team leads
• Software configuration and build management
• Design, develop and implement Unit and Scenario testing for new functionality under development
• Provide system documentation

Key experiences required for the profile are :

• Full Stack Application Development using Java, JEE, JavaScript frameworks (NodeJS / ReactJS / Angular) High scalability projects involving cloud-based infrastructure design and implementation
• Working knowledge of object-oriented design and development skills
• Good understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST and API design for extensibility and portability
• Experience debugging distributed systems with high data loads
• Solid understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model in the online environment
• Experience with Scrum / Agile development methodologies
• Java / JEE, Spring, Spring microservices, JSON, XML, REST, Distributed System, RDBMS, MVC frameworks, Design Patterns, JavaScript
• Experience writing SQL queries / Stored Procedures for Oracle SQL or any another Relational Database
• Experience with Microservices - API / Event Driven Architecture / Development
• Understanding of CI / CD pipelines and toolsets

These skills will help you succeed in this role :

• Advanced development experience with REACT JavaScript
• Advanced development experience JAVA development
• Advanced experience with Oracle DB and SQL
• Experience in Java, J2EE, Servlet, and JDBC
• Experience with API development
• Experience with Spring Framework and REST Web Services
• Experience with code repositories and code management (Git, SVN, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong ability to review and understand complex concepts at a detailed level
• Ability to multi-task and to take the initiative when needed
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
• Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with all partners in the Software Development Lifecycle such as business and quality assurance

• Cloud based development experience
• Experience in the Financial Asset Custody Services Industry

• Bachelor’s degree
• The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented individual and have a minimum of 8 years of professional software experience.

Salary Range :

$90,000 - $142,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
