Special Education Teacher
Location : Eaton, CO
Job Type : Full-Time
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Adapt instructional materials to accommodate different learning styles.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid Colorado teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
- Experience working with students with special needs.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and administrators.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
