Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians and other staff.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or other technical issues and provide guidance or assistance to maintenance staff as needed.
- Plan and oversee preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruptions to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Evaluate the performance of maintenance staff and provide feedback or disciplinary action as needed.
- Monitor maintenance budget and expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in maintenance management.
