High School English Teacher

Position Details

Wolverine Community School is looking for its next High School English teacher to join our school family to serve students in the heart of northern Michigan.

• possesses, or is able to earn, appropriate State of Michigan secondary certification

Job Description : With support and guidance of administration and other staff, our high school English teacher will work to instill a love of reading, writing, and humanity! They will have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students from our small, colorful community, working with like-minded colleagues to do so.

Qualifications : English certification preferred. Knowledge of content standards, effective instructional strategies, and how to support student motivation and engagement.

This position is for the 2024-2025 school year (and beyond) and will remain open until filled, and applicants working in our school district qualify for federal student loan repayment.
