What it's like to be a CMA (Medication Aide) at CMA (Medication Aide)

As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at Christian Care Centers- Allen, you'll play a vital role in preparing and administering medications to our residents with precision and care. Your responsibilities include meticulously documenting residents' conditions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), ensuring that their healthcare journey is accurately tracked and monitored. Strong communication skills are essential as you collaborate with fellow team members and engage with residents and their families, providing updates and addressing any concerns.

This position not only reinforces your medication administration skills but also deepens your connection to the community, making each day rewarding as you contribute to improving the well-being of those in your care.

Does this sound like you?

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

  • High School Completion of CMA course (Medication Aide), CNA Course completion.
  • Current CMA certification (Medication Aide); Current CNA Certification.
  • Minimum required 1 year of related experience; preferred 5 years of experience.
  • Computer literacy, excellent communication skills, and team orientation.
  • Ability to ensure timely arrival and stable transportation.
